Home guard admit card 2026 – inresultsarkari. Com

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the upcoming phases of the highly competitive UP Home Guard Recruitment 2026. Candidates who successfully cleared the initial written examination stages are now advancing to the crucial Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST) phases. This extensive recruitment drive aims to fill a massive total of 41,424 Home Guard vacancies across various districts in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Securing a position as a Home Guard is a matter of immense pride and responsibility, as these individuals work closely with the regular police force to maintain law, order, and civic security. The publication of the DV and PST schedule marks a significant milestone in finalizing the selection of capable and dedicated personnel.

The Document Verification and Physical Standard Test will be conducted over a span of several weeks, officially commencing on July 13, 2026, and concluding on August 07, 2026. The examination authority has confirmed that the digital admit cards for these specific rounds will be made accessible on the official UPPRPB portal starting from July 06, 2026. It is mandatory for every qualified candidate to download their personalized admit card, as it contains vital information including the assigned test venue, exact reporting time, and the specific date of evaluation. The admit card acts as an indispensable entry permit; candidates arriving at the examination center without a printed copy of this document will face immediate disqualification from the ongoing recruitment proceedings.

Because the role of a Home Guard demands significant physical endurance and agility, the recruitment board has established strict physical standard criteria. Male applicants belonging to the Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, and Scheduled Caste categories must present a minimum height of 168 centimeters and an unexpanded chest measurement of at least 79 centimeters, with a minimum required expansion of 5 centimeters. For male applicants from the Scheduled Tribe category, the minimum height requirement is slightly relaxed to 160 centimeters, coupled with a chest measurement of 77 to 82 centimeters. Female applicants across the Unreserved, OBC, and SC categories must have a minimum height of 152 centimeters, while those in the ST category must meet a 147-centimeter requirement. Furthermore, all female candidates must maintain a minimum body weight of 40 kilograms.

Beyond the fundamental physical measurements, the selection process incorporates a demanding Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This test evaluates the practical stamina of the applicants. Male participants are required to complete a 4.8-kilometer run within a strict time limit of 28 minutes. Conversely, female participants must successfully finish a 2.4-kilometer run in no more than 16 minutes. Preparing for the PET requires consistent training and discipline, and experts advise candidates to focus intensely on improving their running stamina leading up to the test dates.

Simultaneously, the Document Verification phase is executed with the utmost scrutiny. During this stage, candidates must present their original Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate, validating the primary educational eligibility criteria for the post. Additional mandatory documents include caste or category certificates for those claiming reservation benefits, proof of residence, valid government-issued photographic identification, and a printed copy of the original online application form. The UPPRPB emphasizes that any mismatch or discrepancy found between the provided original documents and the data submitted online will result in outright rejection. Candidates are strongly advised to organize their documentation well in advance and carry multiple sets of photocopies alongside the original paperwork to ensure a smooth verification experience.

The Uttar Pradesh Home Guard plays a pivotal role in maintaining public safety and providing essential support during emergencies, festivals, and large-scale public events. Becoming a part of this organization requires not only physical strength but also a strong sense of civic duty and moral integrity. Candidates are encouraged to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the testing environment and practice their physical routines regularly to avoid any last-minute injuries. Furthermore, reaching the test center well ahead of the designated reporting time is highly recommended to complete all pre-verification formalities without stress. As the DV and PST dates approach, applicants should maintain a healthy diet and proper hydration to ensure peak performance on their scheduled examination day.
