Eligibility Criteria
- Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1-5):
- Candidates must meet any one of the prescribed qualifications, such as 10+2 with 50% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed., 10+2 with 45% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed. as per NCTE Regulations, 2002, 10+2 with 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed., 10+2 with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Special Education, or Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed. Candidates must also have passed JTET for Classes 1–5. Jharkhand residents qualified in CTET or a neighboring state’s TET may also apply, subject to passing JTET within the prescribed period.
- Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 6-8) Language Knowledge:
- Candidates must have any one of the prescribed qualifications, including Graduation + 2-year D.El.Ed., Graduation/PG with 50% + B.Ed., Graduation with 45% + B.Ed. as per NCTE norms, 10+2 with 50% + 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed., Graduation with 50% + B.Ed. (Special Education), or PG with 55% + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. Candidates must also have passed JTET for Classes 6–8. Jharkhand residents qualified in CTET or a neighboring state’s TET may apply, subject to passing JTET within the prescribed period.
