(ii) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. (iii) Candidates must be fit to serve in border regions with harsh weather conditions, be in good mental and physical health for work anywhere, including high altitude, and be free of any physical deficiencies that could hinder their ability to perform efficiently. NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
